I am Lisa Simpson

Random Subject Generator
I don't know if anyone even pays attention to what made me think of this. In that sense, I'm already two steps away from normal. But I despise (not really, I'm already over it) getting emails with the subject line of "hey", or "what's up?" There isn't anything wrong with this, it's just that those who engage in this practice are selling themselves short. I'm not chomping at the bit to read your email, and I should be, because it's from you, and I like you.

I want a tool built into my subject line that lets me generate a random movie quote or song lyric to serve as my subject. If you think the subject need apply to the actual message, then you are inside that box. That one people are always trying to get out of.

I think things like this already exist on the interweb. It's just, you have to go search them out. There is cutting and pasting. And probably a pop up or two. And the truly lazy won't ever do that. They'll just write "hey". Would you rather read an email with the subject line of "Headsmack the shit out of 'em!" or "hey"? "I'm really good with a Bo staff" or "no subject"? I know which camp I'm in. And let me say this, I am firmly in that camp. We have a fire and tents and everything. And we aren't going nowheres.

So in summation, give me a little button next to my subject line that says "random subject generator" and let me and all my friends click it. Joy will be spread, one email at a time. Response times will decrease. It will be a glorious new age. Glorious.
