Thievery

In honor of Easter, one of those holidays that seems to belong to everyone and no one all at the same time, here is today's idea.

Find a group of level-headed, reflective people and borrow another cultures holiday.

Do the legwork on this one and try to find that celebrates good things and maybe isn't deeply rooted in religion. Less chance to offend someone that way. And the reason for picking thoughtful people to help you celebrate is because you don't want to turn this into a drunkfest from which you learn and honor nothing.

I think the end result of this little experiment/ idea would be you saying, "Huh. So that's how (insert culture) gets down." Just doing the research on how to celebrate might open you eyes a little bit.

So yeah, as with every experiment, there is the chance that this could go horribly wrong. Let's hope that isn't the case. You know, in case you do try it out.
