3 Minute Summary

This is a bit of an extension of a couple of older ideas. Hopefully that isn't against the rules.

The idea is to write a script for, and then film, a 3 minute trailer for the biopic of your life.

I firmly believe this could be done in a weekend. I mean, you could spend a long time on this thing if you wanted. But don't. You're far too busy for that. And maybe you don't have to film it. That could add some hours to the whole process.

Just hit the high points and move on. But make it super dramatic, too. Or make it funny. If you really wanted to get after it you could make different trailers for different periods of your life.

Mine would probably start with me as a 5 or 6 year old feverishly riding my bike back and forth in front of my house, a steeled, determined look on my face. I'd somehow work in that my parents were divorced, but wouldn't show the actual event. I might have a scene where me and brother are say, 8 and 10, and we're fighting until some kid makes fun of us for fighting and we start beating him up. This never happened, but it makes a point. Fast forward to high school and I'm trying to ask a girl out...but she tells me she likes my friend. Then, on prom night, I win a surf contest in Hawaii.

So I took a little creative liberties at the end.
