Ok, so maybe you're a vegetarian. Or maybe you hate mustard.
The idea today is to will yourself to make the best meated dish you can. Or to find a way to use mustard in your cooking.
Basically, take something you cannot stand to eat, or would never eat and master the preparation of that dish.
You'll be at a slight disadvantage, sure, because you won't know what it's supposed to taste like and probably won't want to know anyway. But you also will have the advantage of a clear head. You'll be like some unfeeling kitchen machine only concerned with producing the best final product you can.
You'll need an audience. Someone to tell you if you're on the right track. But that should be easy to find.
I suppose the reason for doing this is simply to push yourself from your comfort zone and start using a part of your brain that has, until now, remained rusty and neglected. You will have to work harder than if you were preparing, say, waffles. Assuming you adore waffles.
But that's the point. You'll have to exercise some different kitchen muscles which will breakdown and, as is nature's design, grow stronger.
