Invent-your-own-board-game day

The idea is for you, and possibly a significant other or group of friends, to invent and actually manufacture your own board game. Sounds like a good rainy day activity to me.

Maybe it's a simple roll the dice and move around the board game. Or maybe you have to answer a bunch of insider trivia questions about the people you're playing with. Or maybe you have to do silly things. You'd only be limited by your imagination and your arsenal of art supplies.

Imagination this little scenario: It's raining. Rather hard in fact. The wind is slapping the rain against the windows and rattling the whole house. You've spent the last two hours cuddling and scheming and cutting and pasting and giggling and writing and inventing. So you make your way into the kitchen, whip up a tasty dinner and eat that while digging into a game you made. You, and whomever you chose to spend this day with. Maybe you make a bet on who will win, and maybe you lose on purpose. And then maybe you fall asleep on the living room floor to the sound of the rain.
