Social Mirroring Site

I had to rummage through all our old posts to see if this one had already been written. I suppose that's an unseen danger of our hobby. That being said, I'm still not sure N'everybody didn't already come up with this.

Forging ahead anyway and hoping the dearest of readers will point it out if I doubled up.

Anyway, I just read an article that quoted a 17 year old kid as saying he wouldn't switch social networking sites unless ALL his friends switched with him. But what if just a few switched? I think all of us probably have friends scattered across the social network-o-sphere and therefore have multiple accounts all over the place.

So the idea is to develop a site that lets you monitor all your social networking sites at once. You take your myspace account and plug it into Awesome.com (working title) and then do the same with your college's networking profile and your Friendster profile. You can't make edits from Awesome.com but you can see if you have new messages or whatever on each site and have access to your profile with a simple click. That opens a new window and when you close it, you're right back to the portal and can access the rest of your accounts. And you only have to remember the one login because once you're in, you are immediately logged into myspace or whatevs.

This is probably illegal but it certainly wouldn't be hard to do.
