Children's Book

I should note, even at this late stage, that a lot of these "ideas" are just thinks I might like to do. I feel like I've gotten in the bad habit of saying you "should" do some of them, when really it's more like sumthin' you could do. If you wanted to...

Without further adieu...

You should absolutely write a children's book. But ask someone else for the theme. Then you write the story and build the world that conveys that theme. I've always been fond of the classics, like don't steal/ borrow without asking, or treat others as you would like to be treated. If yer up for a challenege, write an origin story WITH a theme. But I think it would be fun to ask someone else, especially if you aren't writing it for your kid, what message they'd like to see repped in a kid's book. And do the artwork, too. Even if you have to scribble out stick figures. The indie world is full of people drawing that aren't technically good, or singers who couldn't hit a note to save their lives. The idea is to put the effort in and make it honest.
