So this already exists in some formats. You can recieve your audio messages as emails, but that doesn't really help with what I need.

If you're out at night and want to play a message for your friends, maybe one that's hilarious for whatever reason, there isn't a great way to do it. You can play it on the loudspeaker function, but that's hard to hear. And passing it around is lame.

So all I'm asking for is a function when you listen to a message you can elect to have it sent to you as a text, or a series of texts. That way everyone can read whatever the funny message said.

Now, some potential problems: the transcribing can be really off, which means the message would lose all it's meaning. And all the inflection would be lost. But still, I'm imagining a system that does whatever I want.

And this system doesn't mistype words AND it can detect inflection and convey it with italics, quotes, bold, and caps.

And all this to make your party life that much better.
