Friendly Slushfund

Simple idea, difficult execution. Friends put money into a pot. Friends take money from the pot for good reasons. There was a idea like this once, that might appear here separately.

What I envision in this version of the idea is just a big account or literal pile of money that some group of friends puts together with two intentions. First is probably the easier: group activity fund. Like for renting a van to take a trip or paying for gas money or hotels or campsites. That stuff. The other is for the people in the group who either who need the money to publish a book or pay rent or gas money or campsites. Right. So the lists converge you see.

I suppose people would just pay in as they could and as they felt like they wanted to. And I suppose the most important stipulation is that you need to consider it group money once it goes in and not be thinking about which portion of it was formerly your money. Cause it ain't anymore. And of course the group would totally have to work as a group to dole it out. And the other point being that this is clearly intended for groups that could actually at least someone successfully trust each other and agree on the doling out of said money.

Anyways that was pretty much idea. Cause sometimes people need help and what not. And friends can be good at that. So you know there are issues. And that's that. You'll get past that at some point. And good for you.
