A better solar heat

There seem to be a great number of people with unused swimming pools. A recent study I just made up says that 64.9% of all American swimming pools are under or unused. And 84% of those pools in the same study say that those pools aren't used because of their temperature. Specifically how cold they are.

Even in the summer, no one wants to swim in a freezing ass pool. And during the winter and fall months, no one wants to even go near a freezing ass pool for fear they might fall in.

So here's the idea. Solar panels that live and float in a pool. You'd have maybe 20 of them in the pool floating around with "warming tentacles" that feed out into the water. They wouldn't have to generate a lot of heat, just enough to increase the overall temp. They'd look like little squid, basically. And when you wanted to swim? Just take them out and you're good to go.

Maybe that's a hassle, but it's way more efficient than a regular pool heater. And those 1990's solar units that go on your roof? Um, yeah. Those don't work.

Again, you aren't going to be running a sauna here, you just need want to improve the temp so it's comfortable. Maybe you use less of them in the summer, maybe more in the winter.

You'd need enough so that the water that had just been warmed didn't cool by the time the "warming tentacle" (I like saying that) left the area.

Anyway, swimming is fun. Sue me for trying to make it a little better.
