Happiness is a warm gun

No one should ever own a gun. Well, ok, some people should. Whatever. Not the point. Just wanted to be very clear from the get go that I am not advocating anyone purchase a gun based on anything contained within this post.

I was reading this article by a dude who, when frustrated or angry, took a drive to a local shooting range and shot really big guns until he felt better. He just shot targets, not animals or clay. I'm good with that. It sounds prety cathartic. But it also sounds like the very sort of thing that isn't for everyone.

So, I'm suggesting that if firing a gun doesn't sound totally repulsive to you, you try this the next time this big bad world is getting you down. Drive to your local gun range (there are more than you think) and empty a few clips. See what happens. It might gross you out. It might make you feel better. It might make you realize you should have been an international spy or something. I don't know.

I do know I like to advocte the trying of new things. So that's what I'm doing now. Advocating.

If you find weapons of all sort repulsive and have lost all respect for me...well then the other guy wrote this.
