Work release study program
I know colleges will sometimes assign on-campus jobs to students on scholarship, well why couldn't they do this with established, pre-screened, non-campus jobs? Like with reputable companies such as Evil Corp. and Gigantotek. Ok, or you could do it with real companies like fast food places or offices. These kinds of places are always looking for good help and college students seem to always be looking for jobs. Granted, some kids are gonna be looking for better or different jobs than are available, but still. If you just need a job, any job, then this would really work out for you. Obviously both parties would have to agree that things are working out but I think it would be of a benefit to each. And I think this could be done out of a career center. Basically the employer calls up and requests the number of employees they need and for how long and then the career center sends them that number of kids who have agreed to do whatever. It's like a temp agency. But with college kids.
