Is vastly underrated.

I think we need more audio postcards in the form of email.

Or how about this. A website where you can send audio journals/ postcards to people. Just you talking. You login with your email address and the audio file pops up in there. You can download it if you want or you can listen to it in a browser the same way seeqpod works. But this website also catalogues all your conversations so you end up with this journal of a conversation with someone. And all you see is the audio file, no email to root through. Obviously you could do this with gmail but then you have to downlaod attachments etc. In this case, all you're sending is the attachment. And maybe you could have a seperate video tab.

I hope I'm not reinventing the wheel here. I think the catalouging feature and the removal of any vessel like an email is new.
