A more complete movie experience

I could see this idea going horribly wrong. It isn't that I want it to go horribly wrong, but the kind of people who make movies are the kind of people who use every color marker available for a drawing. If they're done and you give them a new marker...they'll use it. This isn't a good thing. My moms used to call it "junking it up." As in, you shouldn't junk up you're artwork.

Anyway, if used sensibly this idea could be really cool and enriching.

The idea is to add a ton of features to the walls and ceilings of movie theatres so you can add vibrations, spooky noises, hot and cold sensations, etc. The trick would be to NOT add elements to your movie just to use these features (tho you know this would happen). In a perfect world, the features would only augment what you decided to include in the story. Maybe you could have some rattling seats, etc.

I know Disneyland had a similar theatre but it was cheesy and dumb and they only showed one movie there. The theatre was built for the movie. We're building the two independent of one another and then merging the two wherever is appropriate.

I could get very into this.
