The Time You Need

Idea: A type of vacation that work places offer. You might have to work there for like three years to get it. Or maybe if you have a high stress job like prison guard or elementary school teacher (comparisons obvious) you get it at any point you need it, but like once a career. This vacation can be as long as you need within some reason. It may be minorly paid (eg unemployment pay + health of something...maybe more like subsistence pay or something).

And the point will be that you'll be given time to get okay and there won't be big questions about why or where you're going. Just that you need the time for you. Pretty much this is like a sabbatical institutionalized a little more heavily.

And I think too that this will be a common thing to even put on a resume and maybe even talk about the benefits of with potential employers or whoever. You can tout what you learned or why it was the perfect thing for you.
