Time Estimator

This might be a throw away. But it doesn't mean that you don't still have to read it.

You know how your bank account tells you what you spend each month on various things like groceries and gas and electrical bills? Well I want that, but for your time.

The major hurdle for this will be collection. People aren't big into self reporting these things, will totally forget and then guesstimate horribly incorrectly in the post.

But this could track stuff like the amount of time you exercised, or slept, or spent eating, or shopped for groceries, or went to the lou. And then you could figure out ways to optimize. Or at least look back and see how you spent your time. Might help you to allocate more time for things that you're sure you really wished you were spending your time doing. Like reading or something. I guess this would be good for clocking how many damn hours you're in front of the tv too.

So I guess you could make the data collection really easy. Like you could build it into an iPhone or something that a person keeps on them most of the time. I mean, you'd miss some important stuff like when you actually fell asleep v when you went to bed. But I'm sure you could go back and tag that you spent what felt like an hour trying to get to sleep and it would be able to tag that as a piece of data, if not in the correct time, at least as a sort of astricks next to it.

What I mean for collection is something like a program that was like the grocery store check out machines, maybe with icons of the top 16 or so activities that you do in a daily basis. Especially something like the lou, that could be really easily tapped to signify start and tapped to signify stop. And then of course you could have a deeper supply of activity options on the next page and an add an activity option as well.

And maybe you could even pair all that with whatever other data your phone could collect. Like current location. So that you could know that you slept a certain amount when you were in a certain place. Or like tended to run more when you were at work then at home, or an vacation than not. Or something.

All this and I am sure more.
