Traffic EDU

Traffic sucks. I'm sure there are people that have studied its patterns at an infinite depth and that I won't add much to that discussion, but here I go. (Also BTW, maybe They want their to be traffic, cause maybe it helps them sell more good through the radio and billboards and stuff.)

Driver's Ed should feature a section about the ideal way to drive in traffic. Something like how you should attempt to modulate your speed roughly to the flow of traffic so that you don't have to use your breaks too much. First - this would clearly help the flow of traffic, because it is all the response times from braking to accelerating that add up (even at milliseconds per person) into a substantial back up in traffic. Even if this doesn't fix that, simply shaving a second off of everyone's delay would make a vast vast difference.

Second, if you teach this as a sort of 'rule of the road' in all Driver's Ed classes, it is way more likely to become a reality, especially if there is a sense that it is required somehow instead of just basic etiquette which no one would follow anyways.

There. I just solved traffic. You're welcome.
