Electric baseboards

Ok, let's talk this one out.

You know how the new mac laptops (forget what they're called and am too lazy to look it up) have magnetic power cords? Well they do. Now let's imagine you made your baseboards out of the same design. Theoretically you could draw power from anywhere in the room, and the boards wouldn't be electrified. This would solve the problem of outlets being in less than ideal spots.

But the male end of my appliances wouldn't work with that kind of design, you say. Well, I have a solution and it isn't re-purchase new appliances that do fit. Nope. Just make a small converter (similar to the kind you'd use in other countries) with a magnetic end and a female end.

I think you could pretty easily hook this up to existing electricity and just sort of spread it throughout a room.

I'll now open a can of tab, sit back, and allow you to tell me this wouldn't work.

This is not an idea, but good god it's cool. Click on "products" and scroll down. It fits in a fucking backpack. Not to mention everything else they're making.
