This is a word game that needs to be played over email. I suppose it could be played with letters or postcards, but that seems harder and more expensive.
So here's how it works. You pick a number, we'll say 100 since it's nice and round. And you compose an email to someone containing exactly 100 words. They then respond with an email containing 99 words. You could start with a lot less words obviously.
So you go back and forth whittling that word count down until someone sends a one word email. The challenge would be to have a conherent conversation and have that last word be a meaningful one.
Once you're done, put it on your blog I guess. Or print it out and mail it to Harper's Weekly.
I figure this is just a fun little game to make the time pass on the days when it refuses to do so. You know, like email Battleship. Which I wish I had thought of, but sadly, did not.
