wood burning car

There's no practical reason to have a wood burning car. There may not be any reason for one. But I still think it would be neat to see.

There's kind of two directions you could go with this. One would be the steampunk style of design where the car looks like a train, etc. The other would be to take a new Lexus and outfit the engine to run from the energy created by burning wood.

I'm sort of not wondering if this would even work. Do thinks run on burning wood? Anyway, moving on.

In the course of typing this I thought of a halfway decent reason to have this little invention handy. If you could show the environmental impact in number of trees required to produce the oil to run a car, it might make people take notice. Let me elaborate; so instead of saying this car takes 14 gallons to fill up, tell folks it takes 3 acres of forest, and put the forest in the car.

Or something. Look, leave me alone. I just want a goodamn wood burning car.
