Peanut Butter Sauce

I had this brilliant idea that other day that was a complete concession of my morals. My hatred of Peanut Butter was once all consuming. Until I realized--as my throat began to contract because of flour-less peanut butter cookies my not-yet-girlfriend had made me--that I was allergic to the stuff. And now I hate it, but like, not as much, because I know that it hates me right now.

So, as a peace offering olive branch of loving love to the other side, I bring you my fabulous idea:

Peanut Butter Sauces. I'm sure something of this sort already exists. But I'm really interested in someone developing something along the lines of hummus or another dipping sauce. I mean, you already have the key ingredient, which is a nut butter. Once you have that, you can just add whatever pleases you. Lemon juice, garlic, salt, all sorts of wacky things. And it need not be only savory. You could make a sweet peanut dipping concoction.

Again, I understand that someone probably already does something like this...but I think there would be a huge market for a spread that was just a tiny bit more interesting than the plain ol' peanut butter. Something with some zazz. Something you can put on a chip. And you probably could sneak some additional healthy shit in there too and trick some kids into not being fatties while you were at it.

There. Now I'm going to go back to my corner and brood about how I hate the stuff and everything associated with it.
