Usually it is Junior year. But that is when you're finally into the good courses in your major. And you really shouldn't miss those. The last two years really give you a well rounded education that feels like you've attended the college of your choosing.
Plus Sophomore year is still about adventure and exploring. And what better place to do that than in another country. And you can totally still do your basic required courses abroad cause that is the same shit everywhere.
So there you have it. I've single-handedly solved the cause of kids going to school for 5 years. You're welcome parents.
