Make greeting cards yours

Hallmark is a powerful machine. And while they aren't the only ones, they're the face of the problem. Cards so specialized now. I hate it. Sometimes I really like a card but the recipient is not a 13 year old girl, nor is it his birthday.

My idea is to just buy it anyway. Screw getting the "right" card for the "right" occasion. You can always cross words out and add in your own thoughts and sentiments. And as the made of honor at my brother's wedding pointed out this means you can just buy cool cards whenever you see them. Is it for a 60th anniversary? Just get it. With a little Sharpie work you can make that card applicable for Christmas.
