The Greatest Neighborhood

It gets political today as I suggest you rezone your city. As in, take a map of the city where you live and in big black sharpie start creating some new neighborhoods. Put the things that matter to you in the same neighborhood. Maybe it's a park and a restaurant and a friend's house all in one little area. Except technically they're all in three different 'hoods. Effing rezone it. Once your done, pin the whole map up somewhere everyone can see it.

This is probably more fun if you live in a big city, but it might be fun in suburbia as well.

The reason for doing this is that you'll start to own your city a little bit more. It'll feel even more like yours. And you'll get to cruise around the streets with your own lingo.

And how much fun will it be to go over to different houses and see how they zoned theirs? Or maybe you could throw a wine and cheese party and do it as a group. Though that seems hard. But hey, that's how politics get done.
