Double Bag It

This is way too easy an idea. I really don't even need to be writing this. But like, this needs to happen. And this is the place for ideas.

There is a lot of talk going around now about getting rid of plastic bags in grocery stores. Or using only a single paper bag. Single bags, however, do not work. Now I'm all for reusable bags, go ahead and bring yours to the grocery. I try to remember to. But this for the people who don't and for the people who have to bag your groceries.

Pre-doubled bags. Or bags with two sets of handles. So, I worked at a grocery store for seven shifts and I know that having to put one bag into another sucks. So why not make them so that the bottoms of the two bags are already attached? Or like with two sets of handles. Yeah...that. The point of the second set of handles is that it splits the weight of the bag into two distinct vectors on either side. Meaning that the weight is distributed such that the handles won't rip. I'm just saying. Let's make it easier on these people and easier on ourselves so we don't have the disaster of a single bag ripping and letting fall to the ground a beautiful bottle of alcohol. I never want that to happen again. Single bags simply don't work.
