Security is go

I like to go places, and often, I like to bring the very same laptop I'm typing on right now with me. And someday I want to travel the US. Again, hopefully this modern technological marvel will tag along.

But I worry about leaving it in a car for any extended period of time, especially if it's going to be out of eyesight, which it most certainly would be.

So what I want is a super-secure, super-hidden, super-fireproof laptop safe for my car. Maybe it's a slot in the trunk that's padded and has an electronic lock. Someone else can figure all that out. But weld it to the frame so someone couldn't steal the box. And hide it so even if someone did steal the car, they wouldn't know what they had. And make it fireproof so if someone torched said car then the lappy still might survive.

Simple. Kind of ridiculous. But it would give me the piece of mind to leave the damn thing in the damn trunk for more than 5 damn minutes.
