Yes the title is stolen. No I don't care.
This is the promised part two to meditation madness. So you've been meditating for years now. You're really in touch with your flow of chi. You know, for instance, that on Mondays your chi gets blocked in your left foot as you fidget at your desk really wanting to kick someone in the face. Now you are ready.
Or whatever.
You know how people will sit in a steam tent for a few days purifying themselves and then they'll stalk out into the woods in a metaphorical hunt for the self? Do that. But like, in whatever way works best for you.
The idea is to take a sort of spirit journey. It could happen in your living room with psychotropic drugs, or out in the wheat fields of Kansas looking up into the ether. But maybe you should considering taking some time to be by yourself. An extended period of time where you really have to face a lot of quiet and alone.
I find this sort of thing really healthy, even if it feels hard to do and can make for some real sadness in the alone.
But maybe you could try it. Go out camping by yourself. No where crazy. Just sort of loner it somewhere and do some normal get by by yourself things. I'm sure people who live alone feel like they get enough of this already, but going away from your "home" is also a part of it. Cause your "self" has a momentum that sometimes needs to be dislodged...forcibly.
