So doctors can prescribe bedrest when someone isn't feeling well, or they can say you should get more rest. But there isn't anything they can sign a prescription for that falls in the middle. Not really, anyway.
So, my idea is that naps be on the list of things doctors can assign to you so that your job and family will have to recongnize your medical need for one.
I also have to give credit to the friend with whom I was discussing the amazing healing power of napping. It's great. It's like charging your cell phone battery...a little goes a loooooong way.
But the first step is to get naps medically recognized as a legitimate form of treatment.
