Foam Core

You know that foam that they have in playgrounds now that they can't use tanbark? It is sort of bouncy, but only sorta. I would like the people who make and market that to find other interesting places to put it. Like they could make it for professional kitchens and other places where people have to stand all day long.

Or they should do start installing them in places where people are notoriously grumpy, like in the DMV where you're standing in line, or bus stops, or even a specific corner of your town where people are mean. My theory here is that it is just a slightly odd and joyful experience. And that it might just make you stop a second and be a little less angry with the world around.

Go and surreptitiously try it the next time you're by a playground. But don't bounce too much, people might think you're odd.
