Puppet Show

How come nobody uses hand puppets anymore? Technology is great and all but hand puppets are pretty cool.

I feel like a really low budget version of say, the X-Men, would be awesome. Hand puppets. And on TV.

I'm not saying we should abandon all the awesome things we've done with special effects and actors and all, but it would be fun to scale it back and use hand puppets.

Are we approaching wood burning car levels here?

I recently heard of a woman who's doing an entire opera with puppets. Real singing. And puppets. See, I think that's cool. You could bust your ass and try to get that same opera done on a real scale with humans, but why bother? Puppets are just as cool.

I feel like G4 could get into this. Or Comedy Central.
