Force Off

File this under "probably already exists."

I hate video games. But I also get the occasional craving to play them. These simple indulgences can often turn into marathon sessions that leave me bleary eyed and feeling like I just wasted a colossal amount of time. Which I no doubt did.

So what I want is a simple device I can hook up the power supply of any electronic device that will shut off after whatever amount of time I tell it to. 45 minutes. An hour. Something like that. Now, I know they make timers, but I want one that won't turn back on for 24 hours.

I can see lots of ways to trick this device, but that's ok. It might actually work out better this way.

But for those of us without an "off" switch, we need a manufactured one. So there.
