Hot Icecream

Hot ice cream. Yeah...you heard that right. The idea is to make something with a similar texture to ice cream for sale in the winter months. So it has to be sort of rich and scoopable and sweet and delicious with a bevy of toppings.

At first I had no idea how. But now I'm thinking that maybe you could make a sort of rice pudding base and then sort of food mill it until you had a pretty smooth texture. And you really could make that shit taste like anything you wanted. And it would be perfect in a cone. And it wouldn't fall apart in heat, or over time.

Just seems like people want ice cream in the winter and sometimes get it. But it seems ill advised. And hot chocolate is so not an answer.

My other motivating factor was the thought that it should have the consistency of mashed potatoes. But I guess I decided that rice was easier to make sweet than potatoes.

You don't have to like it, you just have to help me make it.

I also remarked whilst discussing this that this idea had legs. And was prompted informed that no one saw legs on this idea. And I said, perhaps it is a tadpole, who only needs time and nuturing to grow a nice set of legs with which to hop towards glory.
