Narrative Control Films

Everyone from the 80's remembers choose your own adventure stories. Given our proven faith in the ability for technology to do anything here at Aught Empire, I think we could do this with movies and even more subtlety. Like perhaps on your remote at any point you could simply hit: happier or sadder, funnier or more likable, more serious, more boring, prettier. And the movie then at the next turn and unseen by the viewer as a noticeable change, starts being so. That way you never hit the end of a storyline and have to choose a specific fate. Instead you choose a quality of film that you'd prefer to see.

Say you're watching a romantic comedy and you hate all of the characters. You could simply choose to turn it into a drama and that way you'll know that someone is going to die horribly. I mean, you could clearly take this even further, but I think that is enough for today.
