So you know those big shipping containers that pretty much move all the world's goods? Apparently once those get a few dents in them the shipping companies refuse to use them. Why? Because they're giant conglomerates and they hate children and the earth.

Actually, I don't know. What I do know is that it doesn't matter WHY.

What does matter is that me and you can get shipping containers pretty damn cheap if we want.

Now yes, you could pay hundreds if not thousands for that extra storage unit in your backyard...but why would you? Just buy one of these bad boys. A fresh coat of paint and some creative welding (possibly adding windows) would give you an attractive new space. You could use it for a shed or a workshop or a hang-out area (if you added some temperature controls).

Do whatever. It's kind of a dorky DIY thing but you know what? White people love DIY.
