Exit strategy

Several many much posts ago I wrote about getting a disaster kit together. Well this is that but expanded significantly. Not only should you have all that gear together but you should also know if you're staying and where the hell you're going if you're not. Maps, routes, places you can stay safely. Alternate routes. Loved ones you need to contact, etc. Making decisions is a lot easier if you've already made them. Put that shit in the bank.

A lot of this depends on the emergency and its outcome, but you can put some general things in place to make life easier.
