Novel Group

This may be the first original idea I have ever had. Even tho it has probably already been done, I certainly haven't ever heard tell of it. And it may also be the most genius idea slash the death of the novel.

I would like to see groups of people try writing novels.

The novel is the only form I can really think of that doesn't really have a collaborative form. It is sort of like marked by the fact that it is written by a single consciousness. But why? I mean, hat is how it is, but is that how it should be? Maybe novels could escape some of the bad things about them through this process. Maybe people could take them to great new heights by putting their heads together.

Of course this could also lead to the complete destruction of the form as factories of novel writing test groups could put together the worst LCD (lowest common denominator) trash you'd ever seen.

But yeah. Do it together. Get over yourself. Learn to write and edit, or simply create, as a team.
