Tip of the day

I know this may not qualify as an idea, but it sort of does. I mean, it's a step above, "Go see Watchmen when it comes out because it will fucking save your life." But maybe it isn't a life changing invention (you know, the kind of stuff we're known for around here).

But my tip to all of you for today is learn everything you can about solar technology. Like, seriously, now. Go learn how to install the panels and wire a building and how it works, etc. There's already a shortage of qualified people who can do this work. You'll instantly become a much hotter commodity than you already are (which is saying something). There are a bunch of seminars you can go to do for this sort of thing. And since most of them are free there's really no excuse not to do it.

Oh, and if you're of a more charitable disposition you can use these skills in a volunteer capacity. So yeah, now you really have no excuses.
