USB Scarf Battery

Suck it. Read the title and suck it. We may have officially gone off the deep end over here.

But we think a lot about batteries in this day and age, let's face it, seem to be developing shorter and shorter life spans. If you're going to be out and about using your ipod and your phone and everything else, then you're going to need a way to charge those devices.

So I propose the USB battery scarf. It's a scarf that looks normal, except it has a small usb cord that plugs into a computer and charges a rope like battery running through it. That's on one end...and on the other end is the output. Not sure what that would like just yet. If you design it properly, you wouldn't be able to see any of these things. It would like a regular scarf. But when you start to run low on batteries, you just plug in your device to the scarf and charge it up for a little bit.

Now obviously this calls for some kind of universal plug or an adapter you could easily carry to make sure everything will fit.

And why use a usb connection as opposed to a straight power outlet? Two reasons: 1) it's smaller and more well-hidden and 2) I figure the carry over to most electronic devices is easier with a usb. Someone could talk me out of this, but I'm still not changing the name of this post.
