Drunk Mail

A local radio station was talking about drunk texting today and someone jokingly threw out the idea of a drunk postcard.

Now watch me bring that to life.

Some resorts have started offering free postcards nad postage in their lobby. Basically you fill it out right there and they mail it for you. The postcard has a picture of the resort on it so whoever you send it to is getting an ad for the cost of a postcard and a stamp. It's pretty damn cost effective when you do the math.

So my idea is for bars to adopt this little idea. Just set up a box and put some postcards in front of it. All the drunk people fill out the cards (assuming they can remember someone's address) and drop it in the box. The next morning the cards get stamped and mailed. A bunch of people get drunk postcards from their friends in a few days (featuring a picture of the bar and its address and phone number, too.)

I don't know about you but I love getting postcards. And a drunk postcard? That would be sweet.
