Specifically, learn to say no to parties that you dont want to go to. I mean, you really need to make sure that the reasons you're going are good ones. Good reasons like "I actually want to be there." Don't go out of a sense of obligation. Oh, and also, if you do go and it's lame, pull the plug on that bitch.
