Today is the day that sometimes poster to this site, Nate, and someday poster to this site, Alison, get married. Please join me in saying "yay" to the happy couple.
The wedding series has 6 ideas in it now and I thought it would be fitting to do another one in honor of Nalison as they are so cleverly reffered to by no one. I lobbied for Alithan but hey, what are you going to do?
The idea is to help anyone who got invited to the wedding learn the story about how the couple met. How? Through the magic of cinema, that's how. Basically you find some friends or a local acting class and write a little ten minute play/ movie with them. They act it out and film the whole thing. It could even be trailer length. It doesn't have to be super fancy or anything, I'm thinking like Swede level here. Or Max Fisher from Rushmore if you're more comfortable with that comparison. Again, not fancy. Fun and easy.
So you get married and then you show this video while pictures are being taken and everyone is bored. People drink and laugh and aren't bored. And they get all fired up for when you make your grand entrance. Huzzah!
