The duct tape factor

Non-profits and other such charitable orginizations work on a tight schedule and probably an even tighter budget. I know the people who work in that sector work incredibly hard to make it all happen. Sometimes the well runs dry, or someone gets sick, or god knows what else happens. But all those budgets and schedules, well, they go out the window. It's a sad fact that sometimes you just can't get it done.

But my idea for today is another non-profit, a place with some serious funding and staffing, that can come in at the last minute and bail you out. I haven't come up with a name for it yet, but something with duct tape would be cool. Basically, these are the people you call when you need that last $2,000, or someone to round up 20 volunteers in 4 hours.

I'm not exactly sure how a company like this would look or operate but the point is that it could work. And it should.
