In pencil and ash we walk

I was exposed to a certain subset of our fair society who makes a living doing exactly what I'm about to propose. Now, I'm not proposing you quit your day job, but there is value in this. Or at least that's the assumption I'm operating under.

You'll need to carry a small notebook. Somewhere at or between a deck of cards and a romance novel in size. You'll also need a pencil, or a pen, or something with which to write (as my very favorite teacher of all time used to put it).

In this notebook you can make the most random of notes, but what I'm suggesting, are the most random of sketches. Just try to draw one as often as you are comfortable with. Comic book artists, and artisits in general, seem to have one of these with them at all times for ideas and thoughts and things.

It's just good practice really, to have a place to record thoughts as they come to you.

AND! If you're ever famous, you can sell it for millions.
