Cold Springs

I don't know if most people have hung around at 11 thousand feet. I'd chance that most people have for one reason or another visited there or higher on occasion. I haven't been myself for many years. (Take a second with that sentence.)

Well if you haven't, you should go. And if you haven't you probably don't know the insane gorgeousness of alpine lakes. They are insanely calm, insanely blue and insanely cold. Maybe you could visit one for me and send it my love? A fun thing to do while there is to jump in and see how just very cold it is. Probably you should only jump in and then leap back out given that you don't wanna die. But even that can be awe inspiring. 

PS drunkboating in Tahoe does not count.
