Frank Miller's "600"

I'm not a mathmagician, but blogspot tells me today is our 600th post. Now that's a pretty impressive feat, right? We think so. Now read the next 600. Or else.

This won't be a grand post or anything, it's actually about golf. And a practice club that doesn't require a ball. How about that?

So basically the club is rigged up with a bunch of sensors and, if you want, hooked up with a computer. So basically you swing the club (wherever you want) over a sensor on the ground and it figures out how far the ball would have gone based on the swing, the club type, etc. Then it show you on the computer.

Oh, maybe this should be a cover that fits on the head of the club. Perfect.

So with this recent and awesome change in my idea, you could actually play a complete practice round. The computer would set up a course for you and then you pick your club based on the "conditions". It tells you how you did and then you go from there. Sweet.

Happy 600 everyone.
