Sail the concrete skies

Asphalt? What the hell are roads made of? I suppose it's actually some composite material meant to be flexible and durable. Anyway, "Sail the concrete skies" is a much more succinct title than "sail the concrete-asphalt composite material skies".

You may or may not be aware that people name their boats. It's a very old tradition that includes a blessing designed to keep the gods happy. I guess this was important because of a healthy fear of the seas. This tradition seems to be fading for a lot of people which is fine or whatever. Name your boat if you want to, don't if you don't. I think a lot of it has to do with whether or not the boat stays inland on lakes and rivers or actually ventures out into the ocean.

Not the point. The point is that we should really be naming and blessing our cars. Highways and such are pretty trecherous these days, so an extra blessing or two might be nice, you know? And you'd get to come up with some fun names and have it printed on the car itself. (Use a sticker if you're worried about the resale value. What are you, an accountant?)

So the next time you get a car that's new to you, pick a name, say a few words as a blessing and then go pirate-style and rob some people. That's what people do on boats, right? Rob people?
