Manage your Communication

I've tried this idea here and for myself in a number of different ways. The idea is simply to set up some sort of regiment for yourself attempting to contact or otherwise communicate with people who want to communicate with but tend to have trouble getting in touch with (through laziness, apathy, antipathy, business or any other reason).

Overarching idea is simply to set up some sort of regiment for contacting these people. Weekly, daily, bi-weekly, semi-weekly, monthly, quarterly. Just pick one. Pick a system also. Letters would be neat. Phones are probably the best. Email and social networking probably are the easiest at this point. Pick who to write to. You could go onto your social network of choice and look for the least recently updated person that you're friends with and write them. You could make a special list of people you might actually want to talk to and systematically work your way through it.

But I guess most of all, just start. It's a lonely world and people like hearing from their friends. So just go for it.
